Sharon Osbourne has returned home after a brief hospitalization due to a medical issue on the set of an paranormal television show. Her son Jack Osbourne provided an update at the weekend.
Jack Osbourne confirmed that the incident took place on the set of Jack and Kelly Osbourne’s Travel Channel show, Jack and Kelly Osbourne Night of Terror. He shared his Instagram story with a message of thanks to all who have reached out and offered love and support. As for what happened with mum, I will leave that to her when she’s ready.
According to TMZ, Sharon Osbourne fell sick while filming in Santa Paula at the Glen Tavern Inn. She was then taken to Santa Paula Hospital by emergency personnel.
Santa Paula Police Chief Don Aguilar told EW that an EMS team transported someone named Osbourne from the Glen Tavern Inn. Osbourne is in good health.
EW did not receive a response from Osbourne’s representatives when they asked for additional information. When EW contacted The Glen Tavern Inn for confirmation, they declined to respond.
Osbourne’s health has been a constant struggle for the last 20 years. The Osbournesstar revealed in 2002 that she had colon cancer. She underwent three months of chemotherapy and surgery to recover. Osbourne had a double breastectomy in 2012 after she learned that her genetic predisposition to develop breast cancer was evident.
Osbourne’s husband Ozzy Osbourne is also struggling with his health. She has been caring for him and helping to support him. Black Sabbath’s singer announced that , he will be diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease by 2020. He called it an “incredibly difficult time for all of us.”
In October, Sharon spoke in an iTV documentary Putting up With Parkinson’s. When I see my husband’s face, it breaks my heart. It makes me sad to see my husband in that state, but I know what he’s going through. “When I see him without him knowing I am looking at him I feel like I’m crying.”
